UNACCOMPANIED CHILDREN TRAVELLING ON ONTARIO NORTHLAND

Ontario Northland's Unaccompanied Minor service ensures that children travelling alone receive the best of care, from the moment they board our transportation services until they reach their destination.

Children between the ages of 8 and 14 (inclusive), may travel unaccompanied under certain conditions if the parent or legal guardian completes and signs a Request for Carriage form.

This form can be obtained from any Ontario Northland station/agency. More than one copy can be given to parents using this service regularly, so that they may complete them in advance.

An Unaccompanied Minor Request for Carriage Form must be completed for each child that is travelling for each direction of the trip. A round trip requires two forms to be completed.

Ontario Northland does not charge a fee for this service; however, please be advised the student fare will apply to the Unaccompanied Minor travelling.
