Travel Information

Tickets:

Tickets for the Northlander passenger train can be purchased on or in advance of your date of travel at any Ontario Northland station and at all Ontario Northland agencies. For a complete list of stations and agencies, and their locations, please click on the Agency information heading on the site menu bar.

You may also purchase your ticket in advance of your date of travel by contacting Ontario Northland at 1.800.461.8558. Please note that a valid credit card is required and that an additional $10.00 service charge will apply for tickets prepaid over the phone.

Tickets are not available for purchase online at this time.

Purchasing tickets in advance does not reserve or guarantee your seat on the Northlander and tickets must be picked up at the station or agency of your departure. Tickets can be purchased on the day of travel and seats are subject to availability.

Smoking:

All Ontario Northland trains and motor coaches are non-smoking.

Train delays:

Unscheduled delays can sometimes occur. Ontario Northland cannot accept responsibility for these delays nor any inconvenience they may cause.

Arrivals, departures, and connections at times stated are not guaranteed.

Alcoholic beverages:

Provincial liquor laws prohibit the consumption of personal liquor on trains. Alcoholic beverages purchased on Ontario Northland trains must be consumed where served.

Lost Articles:

Unchecked baggage - Ontario Northland assumes no liability for articles lost or left on a train or in a station. Once notified, we will make every effort to recover your personal belongings.

Pets:

Pets are not allowed on our Northlander service
