Is the securement system safe to use on my vehicle?

Yes. Each tie-down has a Working Load Limit (WLL) of 2,000 lbs. The new securement system has undergone extensive testing on our service to ensure its effectiveness and safety. This securement method is also used by towing and transportation companies.

How will ONTC secure my vehicle with this system?

Our trained employees will secure each vehicle wheel by placing the tire cradle over each vehicle tire where it will be tightened using a ratchet system and secured to the anchor points on our railcar.
