Stage II Mining Hazard Assessment and Engineering Support Services - Cobalt, ON

Description of Goods and/or Services: ONTC wants to retain a qualified and experienced, professional engineering/consulting firm to complete Stage II Mining Hazard Assessment and related Engineering support services/technical investigations (including risk mitigation, rehabilitation planning and environmental soil characterization) for its property holdings in Cobalt, Ontario linked to legacy mining activities and Asset Retirement Obligations (ARO).

This work is being undertaken as a follow-up to previous engineering investigations over recent years, as part of ONTC fulfilling its legal and due diligence obligations for mining hazard and environmental, health and safety risk assessment, mitigation/monitoring, management and best practice under an overall “progressive rehabilitation” strategy, in alignment with regulatory requirements and in consultation with the Ontario Ministry of Energy and Mines (MEM) and Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP).
