Project Overview

The North Bay Bypass is a newly constructed section of track designed to enable the future Northlander passenger train to travel safely and efficiently around Ontario Northland's yard and shop area in North Bay. This strategic improvement will allow trains to avoid congestion, supporting a smoother and more direct route for passengers. The completion of the North Bay Bypass demonstrates Ontario Northland’s ongoing commitment to delivering a modern and reliable passenger rail service.
