Timmins - Porcupine Station
Ontario Northland is committed to safety, accessibility, and convenience at the new Timmins-Porcupine station. Designed with passengers in mind, the station will offer a secure and welcoming environment for everyone.
Station Features
The Timmins-Porcupine station will serve as a comfortable waiting area for Northlander passenger rail, Ontario Northland Motor Coach services, and Bus Parcel Express. Travelers will benefit from an in-person ticketing booth, a new rail platform for Northlander service, dedicated motor coach bays, and accessible washrooms.
Outdoor Amenities
Convenient outdoor features include ample parking, safe pedestrian pathways, a taxi stand, and a designated area for passenger pickup and drop-off. These amenities are designed to make arrivals and departures simple and stress-free.
Construction Update
Ontario Northland will be carrying out construction activities at the Timmins-Porcupine Station site throughout the 2025-26 season. These enhancements are part of our preparations for the return of Northlander passenger rail service.
Construction will be broken into two phases over multiple construction seasons:
- Phase One includes the parking area, platform upgrades and lighting.
- Phase Two will see the construction of the station building, including an accessible heated seating area, ticket booth, Bus Parcel Express services and washrooms.
